Child Sexual Abuse: Sensitization, Prevention and Redressal
Child sexual abuse is a hidden crisis in Kashmir—rarely spoken of, often denied, and especially overlooked for boys. Learninglee breaks this silence through a culturally rooted programme with toolkits in Urdu and Kashmiri, simple learning aids, and clear reporting guides. We equip children, parents, teachers, and communities to recognize, prevent, and respond to abuse with confidence and care.
Early Childhood Caregivers’ Guide
In many homes, early childhood is shaped by harmful norms — biscuits as first food, screens before speech, and discipline through neglect. Learninglee works with parents and teachers to replace these practices with love, safety, and holistic learning. Through our Caregivers’ Programme, we engage families in their own languages and community spaces, making parents active partners in every child’s future.
Teachers’ Training
At Learninglee, we see teachers as the key to real change. Our programmes help educators grow into mentors—reflective, capable, and child-centered. While past collaborations have built our credibility, we’ve learned that reaching underserved communities requires moving beyond fee-based models. Our vision is a sustainable training programme that ensures no school or teacher is left out due to financial barriers.
Digital Literacy and 21st-Century Skills
In Kashmir’s underserved schools, children are often denied access to digital learning, leaving them unprepared for a technology-driven world. At Learninglee, we treat digital literacy as empowerment. Through digital training corners in Bandipora and Budgam, with donated computers and trained teachers, we are giving children their first steps into technology. Our long-term vision is to establish community robotics and tech centres, fostering digital confidence and ensuring no child is left behind in the 21st century.
Students Mentorship- life skills and talent mapping Programme
The Mentorship Student Programme at Learninglee pairs each child with a dedicated mentor who understands their unique needs, guiding them in academics and life skills. Through personalised support, children enhance literacy, numeracy, confidence, and resilience. Our pilot centres have already seen inspiring success stories, where students thrive both academically and personally, highlighting the transformative impact of mentorship on young lives.
Reading Programme and Library Access
At Learninglee, we believe reading should go beyond rote exercises and exams. Many schools lack libraries, and where they exist, good books are scarce. We create shared library spaces with multilingual books and train teachers to make reading a daily, engaging practice. Through storytelling, guided reading, and thematic discussions, children strengthen critical thinking, emotional vocabulary, and self-expression.
Sustainable Living Programme
Learninglee’s programme empowers children to turn their homes and schools into zero-waste zones, fostering sustainable habits and a deeper connection with nature. Through hands-on activities, they learn to reduce, reuse, and recycle, while engaging with initiatives like Nature School and Save Hangul, making sustainability both a personal practice and a community movement.
Surveys: building through data
Learninglee conducts pilot surveys with street children and schools to gather accurate insights and verify existing data. These findings help us understand ground realities, identify gaps in education and child protection, and refine our programmes. By grounding our work in evidence, we ensure our interventions effectively meet the real needs of children and communities.
How We Deliver Our Programmes
At Learninglee, we ensure our interventions reach children where they are, using trusted, accessible spaces that carry cultural acceptance and community ownership. Our delivery takes three distinct but interconnected pathways:
What they say
Hear directly from the students, caregivers, and teachers whose lives have been touched by Learninglee. Their stories highlight the impact of our programmes, the growth they’ve witnessed, and the meaningful change that mentorship, reading, and sustainability initiatives can bring.
